FBI Burn Bags Revealed: The Deep State Caught Red-Handed Investigating Trump as a Russian Asset — Again
Andrew McCabe and the Coup Plotters Must Finally Face Consequences
Sources reviewed August 5, 2026

The swamp never sleeps. But thanks to President Trump’s second term, the American people are finally seeing the receipts.
Today the White House dropped a bombshell that should end every remaining Democrat talking point about “Russian collusion.” Declassified FBI memos prove that just seven days after President Trump fired the corrupt James Comey, the Bureau secretly opened a full criminal investigation into the sitting President of the United States — treating him as a potential Russian asset acting on behalf of Vladimir Putin.
The code name? Oxferd Comma.
Trish Regan has been calling it exactly what it is: a sinister plot to paint Donald Trump as a Putin agent. And she’s right. This wasn’t some routine national security review. This was the continuation of the greatest political dirty trick in American history — the Russia Hoax — and it was aimed squarely at removing a duly elected president.
The Smoking Gun Language
According to the newly released May 16, 2017 opening electronic communication, the FBI declared it had an “articulable factual basis that reasonably indicates that President Donald J. Trump may be or has been, wittingly or unwittingly, involved in activities for or on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation which may constitute violations of federal criminal law or threats to the national security of the United States.”
They were investigating whether the President was “directed by, controlled by, and/or coordinated activities with” Russia. They explicitly tied it to the Comey firing and obstruction.
Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe was informed. So was Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. FBI General Counsel James Baker and Counterintelligence chief William Priestap signed off.
This came after the Bureau’s own agents already knew the collusion case was garbage. Agent William Barnett later described the whole thing as a “Collusion Clue” game — pick any Trump associate, any activity, and call it evidence. Pete Strzok was texting Lisa Page that there was “no big there there.” The Steele dossier was a Clinton-funded pile of unverified garbage. Durham later confirmed the original Crossfire Hurricane predicate was fatally flawed.
Yet they still opened a case treating the President of the United States as a possible foreign agent.
The Burn Bags: How They Tried to Hide It
This is where the story gets even darker. In 2025, FBI Director Kash Patel uncovered a secret room inside FBI Headquarters — a room that didn’t even appear on the building’s blueprints. Inside were multiple “burn bags” stuffed with thousands of sensitive documents related to the Russia probe.
Burn bags are supposed to be used to destroy classified material. These weren’t burned. They were locked away, hidden, off the map — exactly the kind of cover-up you’d expect from an agency that spent years trying to destroy a presidency it never accepted.
Patel found the evidence of the plot. Today’s declassification puts the actual charging language in the public’s hands.
McCabe’s Role and the Accountability Deficit
Andrew McCabe was right in the middle of it. As Acting Director, he was briefed on Oxferd Comma. He had already been a central player in the post-Comey hysteria. He was later fired for lack of candor. The IG found he misled investigators. Yet he walked. No charges stuck.
That era of elite immunity is over.
Comey and Brennan are already under criminal investigation for their roles in this disgrace. The burn-bag materials and the Oxferd Comma memos give prosecutors even more to work with. McCabe should be next. Anyone who signed off on treating a sitting American president as a foreign asset on the basis of a Clinton campaign dirty dossier and media hysteria must be held to account.
The Truth Always Wins
Robert Mueller’s multi-year, multi-million-dollar investigation found no conspiracy, no coordination, no collusion. Durham exposed the rotten foundation. Now the actual FBI paperwork shows how far they were willing to go: open a secret case on the President himself the moment he fired their ally.
This was never about national security. It was about power. It was about nullifying the 2016 election. It was about protecting the permanent bureaucracy from a man who threatened their control.
President Trump and his team — Kash Patel, the Government Transparency Task Force, and the new leadership at DOJ and the Bureau — are doing what the last administration never would: declassifying the truth and letting the American people see it with their own eyes.
The burn bags have been opened. The memos are public. The plot is exposed.
Now comes the hard part: actual consequences. No more wrist slaps. No more “process crimes.” No more protected class for the deep state.
America First means holding the people who tried to destroy a presidency accountable under the law. McCabe, Comey, and every other official who participated in this outrage should lose sleep tonight.
The truth is out. The reckoning is coming.
God bless President Trump — and God bless the United States of America.
